Dr. Rosen is board-certified in both internal medicine and by the American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Vein & Lymphatic Medicine. He earned his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago in 1999.

Subsequently, Dr. Rosen completed residency in internal medicine at Rush University Medical Center in 2002 and served as Chief Resident in internal medicine in 2002-2003 at Rush/Rush North Shore Medical Center in Skokie. Dr. Rosen then became board certified in Emergency Medicine after completing a second residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago.

After practicing for years as an attending physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, Dr. Rosen took an interest in Phlebology (the study of medicine devoted to vein disease), which was recognized as a new medical specialty by the American Medical Association in 2005. Dr. Rosen then did a year-long preceptorship in phlebology, with emphasis on minimally-invasive, maximally comfortable techniques.

Using state-of-the-art technology and treatments, Dr. Rosen provides the quality and safety of a hospital with the convenience and efficiency of an office setting. Discomfort is minimal and patients can resume their usual routine immediately following treatments.

Dr. Rosen’s patients recognize him not only for his attention to detail but also his ability to keep them at ease during their visit.

When he is not treating patients, Dr. Rosen enjoys spending time with his wife, Marianne, and his 3 children.
