BTL EXILIS ™

As we age, our skin loses elasticity, collagen production declines, and it thins significantly, resulting in fine lines and eventually deeper wrinkles and sagging skin. For many reasons, patients often want to stay on top of these issues and reduce signs of aging.

One of the best ways to do this is with BTL Exilis.

What is the BTL Exilis treatment?

This advanced treatment is the first and only of its kind. BTL Exilis uses both radio frequency and ultrasound to tighten skin and address other body concerns by stimulating collagen production.

This works by delivering controlled energy to specific depths of the tissue to disrupt collagen fibers in order to stimulate new growth – all without causing pain or discomfort to the patient. This allows providers to reach from superficial tissue to deep tissue, resulting in the most effective treatment.

Exilis vs Ultherapy: What’s the difference?

These two treatments are similar in the sense that they’re both non-surgical methods of skin tightening. However, they operate quite differently.

While Exilis uses both ultrasound and radio frequency to tighten skin, Ultherapy only uses ultrasound. The effects are relatively similar, however, BTL Exilis can be used on other areas of the body whereas Ultherapy is only used around the face, chin, and neck.

BTL Exilis also differs from Ultherapy because it can reach deeper fat layers, which provides very unique results for patients while remaining pain-free.

What are common side effects?

While BTL Exilis is non-invasive and requires almost no downtime, some patients may experience very minor side effects including redness, irritation, and possible skin burns – though the latter is quite rare.

When can I expect to see results after an Exilis treatment?

Results vary from patient to patient and are also dependent on which areas are treated. Some patients experience noticeable improvement after a single treatment, though the best results are seen over a 3-6 month follow up period.

How long do the results of an Exilis skin tightening treatment last?

The length of time results last varies depending on the treated area and even the patient’s lifestyle. Typically, results are seen to last between one to two years, though it’s advised to continue at least one treatment per year for maximum results.
