Jonith Y. Breadon, MD, FAAD

Dr. Jonith Breadon is a board-certified dermatologist and a lifelong resident of Chicago, serving patients at Aesthetic Dermatology and Laser Surgery, located in the West Loop neighborhood of Chicago.

Dr. Breadon completed her undergraduate degree from Stritch School of Medicine – Loyola University Chicago. She completed her internship in medicine at Cook County Hospital. She then completed her first residency in Emergency Medicine with the University of Illinois Hospital, where she also served as Chief Resident. She then went on to complete a second residency in dermatology at Howard University in Washington, DC. She has also been a lecturer and injection instructor for several companies – including Valeant, Medicis’ Perlane, and Dysport – where she taught other physicians proper cosmetic injection techniques.

Dr. Breadon has shared her expertise as a media consultant for local and national television news broadcasts, and appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show as a guest expert consultant. She is also a speaker at national and international dermatology conferences.

Dr. Breadon is dual board certified. She holds certification from the American Board of Dermatology in addition to the American College of Emergency Medicine. She is the former president of the Chicago Dermatological Society and past vice president of the Chicago Dermatologic Society. Her professional affiliations include membership to several prestigious medical organizations, including The American Society for the Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology, The Association of Academic Dermatologic Surgeons, The Dermatology Foundation, National Medical Association, The Skin of Color Society, and Women’s Dermatologic Society.

Dr. Breadon has also done volunteer work at the Baraka Medical Clinic in Kenya, as well as volunteering her dermatological services at a free clinic in Chicago’s North-West Side, and numerous skin cancer screenings.
