Sangeetha Venkatarajan, MD, MBA, FAAD

Dr. Sangeetha Venkatarajan is a dual board-certified physician in dermatology and internal medicine. Dr. Venkatarajan joined our team in March of 2020, seeing patients at Dermatology Associates of Lombard.

She has extensive training in general, medical, and surgical dermatology, as well as cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. She has a special interest in cosmetics, and performs cosmetic procedures such as neurotoxins (Botox).

Dr. Venkatarajan earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland where she studied cell and molecular biology and genetics. She then went on to earn her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine, and holds an MBA from Rice University. While at Baylor, she completed residency in internal medicine. She then earned her way in to a clinical research fellowship in dermatology in cutaneous T-cell lymphoma at the renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas.

Dr. Venkatarajan completed another residency in dermatology at the John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago where her love for the Midwest grew.

After returning to her roots in Texas where she practiced dermatology for several years, she decided to make Chicago her home.
