Vinesh Melvani, MD, FAAD, MPP

Dr. Vinesh R. Melvani is a board-certified dermatologist and holds a dual certification in internal medicine. He practices medical and surgical dermatology, seeing teens and adult aged patients at Dermatology Associates of La Grange and Dermatology Associates of Lombard.

Prior to joining our team, he spent several years seeing patients at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago, where he also served as Clinical Assistant Professor at the Feinberg School of Medicine.

Dr. Melvani grew up in Hinsdale, IL. After completing medical school at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, he headed back to the Midwest to complete his dermatology residency training at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, and his internal medicine residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He gained additional experience at the Iowa City VA Medical Center.

During his time at Rush, Dr. Melvani was honored with the “Gold Star Resident Award” for receiving the highest patient ratings and reviews amongst his peers.

When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Melvani enjoys playing tennis as well as music, particularly the drums and guitar.
